Thanks to the efforts of our dear supporter, Mehrnessa Mofidi who asked her kind mother, Mrs Ghodsi to consider bringing a vafa dog to Toronto with her, Kopol arrived on afternoon of September 18th.
Another wonderful supporter Mr Saman offered to transport her from Toronto airport to London, Ontario.

Lost is a mixed breed female dog around ten months old. She is spayed and weighs around 24 kg, or 52 lbs.

She is smart, calm and sweet, but a little shy and sensitive. She is friendly with people and loves to be petted by them. She is good with other dogs and loves to play run and chase. She tends to want to be the alfa dog. Though her foster dad can take anything from her, she is less giving towards strangers or other dogs.

Ashley is a mixed breed female puppy around seven months old. She is spayed and weighs a little over 63bs these days.

She is very smart, loving and curious. Nothing makes her happier than to see her human pack and needs some training on her greeting manners.

this gal is about one year old and is spayed. When we found her, she had a broken front leg. The injury must have happened a long time ago. One operation and she was better, but she is still limping.

male and neutered. He just lovveeess to jump up and puts his hand on your shoulders and look into your eyes with those loving eyes. He can stay in this position for as long as you pet him.

Female and spayed, this two year old is happy go lucky and well tempered. One leg seems a bit shorter than the other so she limps a bit.

This boy is about 9 months old. He was raised in a house in Tehran and then was surrendered to the shelter.

Our Payeez is 7-8 months old, spayed, tiny, sweet, and a bit shy!

male and neutered, 8-9 months old, he was born in the shelter. He is a bit timid at first but he will warm up after a bit and becomes your buddy.

female and spayed, about one year old, very timid and shy, she hardly let us take her picture.

our girl is spayed and is about 8-9 months old. She is very pretty and very social. Gets along well with other dogs and with people but don’t try to take her food away from her.

Gandom (means wheat in Farsi)

Our Gandom is a bit scared of humans (who knows why) and doesn’t hang around too much, but it’s not like you can’t get to her at all either . She is a spayed girl . 

Baaraan (means rain in Farsi) & Daarchin (means cinnamon)

Baaran is a short-legged black and white female. Two years ago someone found her in Jadde Chaloos ( a major highway connecting the Caspian Sea to the rest of the country), she was thin and hungry and her swollen breasts showed that she was nursing.

4 years old and spayed, this lady is a survivor. The city worker in charge of killing stray dogs shot her 4 times and was going for another one when a kind lady saved her from death and took her to her home and brought in a doctor to treat her.

this gal joined the shelter with her mom and siblings all the way from Tajreesh Square in Tehran.

This 3.5 year old pal is a neutered boy. One cold winter night, him and his 2 sisters and one brother were left in front of the shelters’ doors.

This spayed Mademoiselle is about one year old and is always happy to see you, She greets you with passion and wants to jump up to give you a doggy kiss. She is very playful.
